Our Story
Goodness Goodies was founded in 2013 by Mandy Chowdhary, who hated seeing her daughter upset from missing out on food and being left out because of her peanut allergy. Inspired by her family’s experiences with allergies and dietary restrictions, Mandy set out to source products that allowed everyone to enjoy food without feeling excluded.
Early on, this meant looking beyond the UK market to find truly “free-from” products that weren’t readily available here. In 2014, Goodness Goodies became the first UK importer and wholesaler of Dandies vegan and gluten free marshmallows, helping to establish the brand as a mainstream product in the UK and opening up new possibilities for plant-based baking and desserts.
That pioneering approach still defines the business today.
